A huge thank-you to Pam D. She met with a lady named Joni Shanholtzer, who owns Unique Flea Market in Coatsburg, IL. Joni donated all of the yarn in the picture plus MORE!!!
We are currently making granny squares for scarves & hats for the Madonna House & Quanada in Quincy. They help mothers who are homeless and their children. there is a big need for hats, scarves, and baby blankets for them right now. So we are helping them one stitch at a time.
If you do not like to make granny squares and still want to help, feel free to make a hat, scarf, or baby blanket of your own liking to donate. If you do not stitch, knit, or sew, you can still help by donating yarn. We are always grateful for any yarn donations that we get. We are in need of regular worsted weight yarn and baby yarn.
Granny Tally!!!
Here is where we will keep track of our granny square totals. as an added inscentive, The person who donates the most granny squares by December 15th will recieve a blanket crochet by lil ol me!!!
